New York Sour

Ingredients

• .5 oz Egg white (optional)
• .75 oz Simple syrup
• .75 oz Lemon juice
• 2 oz Whiskey
• .5-1 oz Medium-bodied dry red wine (Malbec preferably)

Instructions

Add all ingredients except red wine into cocktail shaker with ice and shake (dry shake first if using egg white). Strain into glass over ice. Slowly pour wine over the back of a spoon on top.
